About Tahiti Food Truck

I am Sophie.I am originally from France & now living in Torquay.

Tahiti Food Truck is the result of my Love for Tahiti & the Polynesian islands, their people, and for healthy food. 

This dream started in 2018, when I was living in Tahiti & Moorea islands for 6 years. These years changed my life and I feel a strong connection to the fenua (polynesian word for the island, the land, the people).

Tahiti Food Truck is a celebration of Polynesian cuisine, bringing the flavours of Tahiti and its islands to you. ​

What is important to me..

​

The products I use are locally sourced (except tropical fruits), pesticide free & organic, as much as possible, as it is essential for me to support the local community & to offer the best quality of food to you!

​

I purchase the fish from local fishermen. I believe, like the Polynesian and other ancient cultures, that we should take only what we need from the ocean, and also to give back to it, to maintain the balance. 

To reduce the impact & protect Mother Nature, biodegradable/home compostable & reusable packaging are used.​

Deliveries for everyday meals are available on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday at the moment, as I am mama of my beautiful 4yo Gaia and spending time with her is essential for me. But please always feel free to contact me if you need to place an order out of these days, I will do my best to honor it. Platters delivery can be done everyday of the week.
